More about Mackenzie

Glad you’re here! I’m a UX Designer based in Savannah, Georgia, focused on creating thoughtful, human-centered digital experiences. I’m passionate about understanding the people behind the screens—uncovering their goals, frustrations, and motivations in order to design solutions that feel intuitive, meaningful, and effective.

Before transitioning into UX design, I spent seven years working as a massage therapist. In that role, success depended on listening closely, understanding individual needs, and creating an environment where people felt comfortable and heard. These experiences taught me how powerful empathy can be—not just as a feeling, but as a practical tool for understanding others and building trust.

Today, those same principles guide my approach to design. I believe great user experiences begin with curiosity and careful listening. By stepping into the user’s world, I’m able to focus on solving the right problems and creating products that are not only functional and intuitive, but genuinely human.

When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me spending time with family, traveling with friends, spoiling my beagle, Maya, or crafting (amateur) stained glass pieces.
